My path
From web designer to UX strategist
Beginnings as a designer
I started as a graphic designer but soon became involved in the web environment during the dot-com bubble.

Entry into content platforms (CMS)
I learned HTML and CSS as part of my daily work designing interfaces for websites, and then I became acquainted with the WordPress and Joomla content management systems.

Technical specialization and E-commerce
I saw the possibility of implementing functionalities and developing advanced dynamic websites and online stores using CMS. That’s how I started creating templates for those platforms, which allowed me to understand PHP and JS code and extend my knowledge to other platforms like Typo3, Moodle, and Drupal, and e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce and Shopify.

I strengthened and applied knowledge and methodologies in user experience design in the projects I faced, which led me to complete a master’s degree in UX.

Mentoring
As a team leader, I make sure that designers and developers speak the same language, reducing technical friction.
I am passionate about sharing knowledge and have developed skills to train users in the use of digital tools and code.
Leader & Volunteer
I have worked as a workshop facilitator and speaker for the WordPress Bogotá community, thanks to my experience working with this platform since 2006.
I co-founded the Colombian Association of Graphic Designers and was part of its board of directors, leading the entity’s digital ecosystem.

Outside of the digital and work environment, I am a canicross athlete, a sport that allows me to put into practice teamwork, leadership and goal-oriented strategy.
